Michel Junod Flying Fish 6’

6’ 22’5 2 3/4’ 45l

A very fast fish with lots of stability that works in all conditions, set up as a quad to blast through hollow sections in the blink of an eye, shaped by one of the master shapers from Santa Cruz who once shaped for Lightning Bolt! Recommended for beachbreaks and mellow summer waves.

Christenson Twin keel fish 5’11

5’11. 21 1/4 . 2 5/8.

Chris Christenson delivers here arguably his most versatile — and in any case his best-selling — design. Forget the classic twin keel: Christenson has poured his genius into this new model to make a board that works everywhere. A deep concave between the twins allows for big speed generation, rounded rails up front enable smooth turns, and generous volume makes it easy to catch any kind of wave.

michel junod big diamond

Michel Junod Big Diamond 5’10

5’10

Michel Junod is an icon of Californian shaping, having forged his career from the Lightning Bolt workshops in Hawaii to Santa Cruz, where his renown is well established. The Big Diamond is a “mini longboard”–style board with soft rails and a very rounded outline; it’s perfect for small summer conditions and for a very smooth ride. Highly versatile, it can prove to be a radical board in hollower conditions.

Longboard Sprout 9’2 CJ Nelson

9’2 23’’ 3’ 74,5L

This Thunderbolt longboard stands out for its refined shape: a classic outline, a generous nose for endless hang tens, and a pronounced tail kick that extends every noseride—even in hollower waves or softer sections. The pinched rails provide surgical hold on the face of the wave while the sharpened tail edge guarantees complete control during quick transitions or committed turns. The hull features a beveled Nuuhiwa-style concave that optimizes lift under the nose, promoting unmatched fluidity when moving forward on the deck. Thanks to its stiff construction, this board offers comfortable paddling from the peak while maintaining remarkable responsiveness as soon as it’s time to link maneuvers or power through slow sections.

Longboard Old Faithfull Thomas Bexon

9’6

Iconic shaper from Noosa, Australia — no introduction needed for this shaper who made longboarding his specialty. According to him, the Old Faithfull is “the best of longboards”… A very gentle rocker, pig-style with a flat-bottomed hull lets it glide on the nose even in hollow waves while remaining very responsive off the tail… if you want to spend time on the nose, vote Bexon!

Tyler Warren Tracker

Tyler Warren Tracker 6’11

6’11

New generation of Californian shapers, Tyler is making a lot of noise across the Atlantic — and for good reason... The Tracker is a single-fin design with a flat bottom and a pure pin tail, allowing it to handle hollow conditions with ease and to sprint with surgical precision to catch the sections... A must for thrill seekers.

hypto krypto

Hayden Shape Hypto Crypto 6’

This international best seller needs no introduction… Known as the board that goes everywhere! Hollow, small, soft, fast? It adapts to everything… thanks to its rounded outline, pintail, lightness and volume… in short, it’s the Swiss Army knife of shortboards…

Longboard Colapintail 8’9 CJ Nelson

These Colapintail longboards are a model I’ve been working on for several years with Ryan Engle and CJ Nelson. These boards helped me bridge the gap between logging and performance-style longboarding. With a pintail and down rails, they allow very smooth, precise turns, and the single-fin setup helps the board trim and nose ride with speed and stability. To design this board, I took the concept of my mid-length and stretched it into a longboard version. I rode this board on many reefs in Southern California, but I mainly designed it for the kind of waves at San Onofre, where the waves are long and mellow. — Corey Colapinto

Egg Panther 7’4

7’4

The Round Egg is perfectly suited to beginner-to-intermediate surfers looking to progress, thanks to its maneuverability and easier paddling provided by generous volume in the nose and a slightly forward midsection. However, this model also appeals to experienced surfers seeking comfort in small conditions, without necessarily switching to a longboard.
The spiral vee bottom shape, located in front of the fins, is precise and refined, offering speed, responsiveness and maneuverability to meet the varied needs of surfers.
This specific model was developed with Joyu for summer waves and comfort!

Josh Hall Long fish 7’6

7’6

The perfect shortboard for the passionate longboarder, the Long Fish is also a credible alternative to common midlength designs like the egg. In 2003, I was looking for a model that could help me move from longboards to shortboards. My shaper and mentor, Skip Frye, suggested I try one of his "Long Fish" models, and it was the ideal solution. I’ve kept one in my quiver ever since. You can really engage the board’s long rails on fast waves and maintain incredible control on big, closed-out point breaks.

Josh Hall Eagle 9’6

9’6

The roots of this design go back to 1991, when Skip Frye became excited about boards that capture the essence of the old Hawaiian trim. Unlike most designs, where the surfer aims to “rip” the waves, the Eagle (and similar boards) favors minimal movement and simply lets the ultimate sensation of glide travel through the board to the feet. There’s nothing better than that feeling!

Channel Island CI Mid 7’

7’

The CI Mid is a modern yet classic design born from a playful collaboration with Devon Howard, a Southern California surfer who has been refining shapes inspired by “eggs” — boards often described as midlengths — for twenty years. Drawing on the long, clean lines of eggs and traditional single-fins, the CI Mid blends this timeless aesthetic with the precision, responsiveness and freedom provided by Merrick’s modern touches. Its elegant, egg-like silhouette features a low entry rocker and slightly forward-distributed volume to make take-offs easier and to hold speed while cruising. It accelerates and pivots with liveliness thanks to contemporary features: a double “barrel” concave, progressively accentuated rocker, and slightly tucked hard rails through the tail.

Versatile and dependable, this board excels on flatter, smaller waves, but truly sets itself apart from many other eggs and midlengths on waves from shoulder-high up to nearly double overhead — conditions where it allows riders to string together wide, fluid and controlled turns with confidence and speed.

V Bowls ryan lovelace.jpg

Ryan Lovelace V-Bowls 8’

This board is the culmination of many years of Ryan Lovelace’s work on the “Hull.” Very rounded, with pinched rails and a reverse concave, it allows for very tight bottom turns, with effortless transfers onto the back foot from rail to rail, and it gets going easily in small waves… all with a unique feel. Don’t be fooled by its “strange” design— the only problem with V Bowls is that once you start riding this board, you won’t want to ride anything else.

Tracker Panther 7’4

7’4

The Tracker is our flagship model of recent years, merging the visions of Greenough, Andreini and Skip Frye to create the ultimate versatile board. With its moderate rocker, the Tracker delivers a smooth glide, and its generous volume allows for early wave entry. Its complex bottom shape, inherited from Skip Frye’s work, combines a rounded vee at the nose that runs along the rails, followed by a concave that transitions into a double/spiral vee toward the tail.

For us, this bottom profile is the most effective for a high-volume board. It gives a flowing feel thanks to the “belly” while ensuring outstanding glide through the water flow under the board created by the concave. The spiral vee, combined with relatively thin, tucked rails at the bottom, provides the board with good hold.

Campbell Egg Bonzer 5

6’8

The Bonzer Egg is inspired by the eggs of the early 1970s. It combines the best strengths of the past, present and future. We’ve made many of them in Bonzer 5 and they perform well in a wide range of conditions; the recommended tails are round, diamond and squash tail. For surfers looking to ride in all conditions. Don’t let any wave get away.

Malcolm Campbell - The Visionary: Malcolm Campbell firmly believes that the performance potential of the Bonzer has not yet been fully realized. He envisions a future where the Bonzer will continue to evolve and push the limits of what is possible in surfing.

Ryan Lovelace Thick Lizzy 8’2

8’2

Originally, the ThickLizzy was an experimental mid-length for Trevor Gordon. We wanted to create something that picks up speed well on mushy waves, while still being able to be ridden tight in the pocket like v.Bowls. What we didn’t expect was the incredible projection offered by a board that big; after about a year of playing with the first version, I began exploring the design and ultimately making smaller versions. The Lizzy features a long, low rocker line and a bottom shape that I consider something of a Santa Barbara specialty — the tri-plane bottom is used in many of my models to allow a wider board to roll onto the rail much cleaner and faster than its actual size would suggest. What this brings to the Lizzy is a much livelier, more positive rail response; you can cruise it at will, or really go for it from the bottom of the wave and hit the lip with far more aggression than you might imagine.
